With its novel operating concept, the Lufthansa iPad app sets the standard in mobile flight booking. Users can explore the Lufthansa route network on an interactive world map, and bring up complete information on destinations worldwide with the touch of a finger. A flight's departure and arrival can also be found on the world map and easily booked with a touch.
The EpicMix experience—which tracks vacationers' stats both on and off the mountain—was already revolutionary. Then Vail Resorts partnered with SapientNitro to totally re-imagine, re-design and re-architect the mobile app and the site. The addition of more social interaction, as well as photos (users can upload their own, and they're tagged via RFID by photographers on the mountain), has been wildly popular. Activity has skyrocketed on the mobile app, which was rebuilt to be more intuitive, even with gloves on.
